Sad to say at level 80 still using my level 72 MC fist. Can't seem to get a drop.

No matter what again is the rule of thumb for delay on second wep?

Can they be different delay?

They can be different delay but you will lose a little auto attack. But if you get 2 weapons that are diff delay but both are better than what you currently have I would switch and just take the hit on auto attack until i could find something to match one of them.

To add to this - what wep would you use the faster in main or best dps rated in main?

Some procs say that they will only fire if the weapon is in the primary slot. E.g. http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Flickerin..._Phantom_Handle

Apparently the proc in offhand is not wasted, but only the main hand triggers procs (even proc embedded in the offhand weapon).

http://www.raidwiki.org/wiki/index....at_system#Procs

In that case, I'd say if you have procs with a percentage (not normalized; e.g. 1.8 times per minute is normalized) chance to fire on attack, use the faster weapon in main hand. If you have only normalized procs, personally, I'd put the slower weapon in main hand. It seems to me that slower weapons fire normalized procs more times in a given fight than faster weapons do, but that's just my own observation -- no facts to back it up.
