New SK, new to the game really

<p>I played at release and just got back in during the double xp weekend. I've played EQ1 a very long time so I knew enough that I should level up in the newest expansion. So I started in TD and did all those quest and now I am lvl 20.</p><p> Should I do the commonlands lvl 20 armor quest or is that stuff outdated? I have like 14 gold thanks to the "Reach lvl 20 quest"</p><p> There are so many quest and zones its just too much to research. Are there any quests or zones you would say are "do not miss" for level 20-30?</p><p> I don't enjoy crafting a lot but I will do it if I know I will be rewarded with things I can use. Since I have no money would crafting armor be worthwhile.</p><p> Any random tips?</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>depends what you want to do in the game. </p><p>do you want to smell the roses, and take it slow? </p><p>do you want to aquire various armor types for diffrent apearance look's ? </p><p>do you want to get to endgame asap ? </p><p>are you looking to PVP ? </p><p>mostly solo ? </p><p>mostly group ? </p><p>mostly raid ? </p><p>mostly quest ?</p><p>etc,, </p><p>realy depends on what you like , and what you want to get out of the game, there are diffrent approcuhes you can take, you can turn off your exp to level a little slower and get use out of gear/items for awyle, or you can use all your exp potions, and double exp weeekend bonus's to grind up to endgame asap , etc </p>

Since I have no money would crafting armor be worthwhile.</p><p> Any random tips?</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p></blockquote>As far as crafting goes, I would highly recommend taking up alchemist as a crafting skill.  You will be able to make upgrades to your spells, if you harvest your own rares it won't even cost that much, and the potions can be big benefit in adventuring.  Posions sell fairly well, so you will be able to make a little coin on the side.  Alchemist also have a lot of receipes and therefore level up fairly fast.I make a armorer with my SK, and it has not be that beneficial.  Most of the time, I can find MOB dropped gear that is equal to, or in most tiers superior to crafted gear.  And armorer don't have as many reciepes (though the number is increasing).For the adventuring, I rushed through several tiers to get to the end as fast as possible, and now regret it somewhat.  There are instances in this game I have never been into.  Take your time and enjoy the ride.  That is what I intend to do with the next update.

get your spells adept 3 until t8 when u want masters, gear is up to you

lol adept IIIs thru t7? i dun think so. Maybe its been a while since you lvld a toon (not saying you havent) but adept IIIs in lower lvls are about 1-2pp apiece. I dont know many ppl who have that much plat. esp someone whos just returning to the game from back when it was ridiculously hard to get plat.get adept Is if you can get em less then 30g. but soe is going to be changin xp reqs for levels to make it EVEN EASIER to lvl up, so you should be burning through lvls. then get adept IIIs in ur 70s. and grab masters at that point when you can

My home server you get ad3s for 50g in most tiers if you are not a scout or a tank, they tend to go nutsy expensive past t5 or something.
