I just put 8 pts into the Riposte box in Str and am not noticing much of a difference. I turned on the overhead damage and see the Riposte message come up very RARELY. Should I have stopped at the Double Attack?I've read many posts about going down the STR line but can't find info on how many pts in each.I currently have 4-4-8-8.I was also thinking about maxing out the Pressure Point spell, what do you think?Thank you.

Do not stop until Chi, especially if you solo. Even when I switch to fableds (mid 60s-soon) I don't think I could justify giving it up. It is that good.

It just depends what kind of spec you're going for as to whether it's useful.<div></div><div>Firstly, I'd recommend getting your free respec card from the Achievement Counsel (hail her in the SQ tower). You can use it 5 times (5 respecs), and it's free. It gives you a little freedom to experiment.</div><div></div><div>There are several important trees that I would look at working on. You won't be able to do them all at first, so just work on the ones that seem important for your character right now.</div><div></div><div>Strength - If you're going to use it, take it first. The important ability is Relentless Punches... it pretty much makes the whole tree.</div><div></div><div>Agility - This one has two important abilities. The most important is Ambidexterity: 12% faster reuse is huge. The other ability is Baton Flurry. Baton Flurry firstly is better damage than a lot of other 2nd line abilites (because it hits twice). But the main reason to take this is recovery reduction. If you want more explanation as to why being able to shorten your Combat Art recovery time (which is 0.5s at base, I believe) is a good thing, I recommend checking out this page: <a href="http://www.raidwiki.org/wiki/index.php/Combat_system" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.raidwiki.org/wiki/index....p/Combat_system</a>. Particularly, look at the Effects of Haste section.</div><div></div><div>Wisdom - There are several nice abilities in this tree, especially to add dps and more AOEs to our very limited AOE toolkit. There's the AOE knockdown Crane Sweep. There's the toggle-able AOE proc Crane Twirl. Then there's the short-term AoE buff Crane Flock. The damage that Crane Flock does is amazing against groups. Even if you're fighting a single target, it's a nice dps addition. Just don't use AOEs if members of your group are doing crowd control (illusionists and coercers, mainly).</div><div></div><div>Intelligence - This line is pretty much a must-have for any build. The highlight here is Eagle's Fury, which increases your chance at critical hits. Upping critical hit chance is probably the most effective way to increase dps.</div><div></div><div>The Stamina line has a decent proc (Mantis Bolt), but frankly has the lowest priority for me. It has a 24% chance to proc, but only on Auto Attacks. Whereas the Crane Twirl has a 16% chance to proc on all attacks (including CAs), and also to damage multiple targets. If you're PVPing, Stamina is important to take for it's final ability, which allows you to teleport directly to your target.</div><div></div><div>My observations,</div><div></div>
