Please note, the chest and leg pieces look drastically different on males. Also, the gloves/legs and shoes are not obtainable or wearable, respectably, unless you are a Bruiser or Monk. As far as I can tell, this is the closest to invisible armor you can get ingame. I have seen many many other people, and no one's come close to this:

As you can tell, the Shoulder, Wrist, Glove, Helmet (yes, invisible helmet, I do not use /showhelm), and Shoes are all 100% invisible. The chest piece shows a large chunk of skin (all sides, back, and abdomen. basically a bikini) and the legs (on my char anyway), show the entire legs, with Cloth Simulation enabled.

As an alternative for the legs, you can get +30,000 in your crafting association, and buy either of the 2 leg armors. they are longer than the pictured one, and a different color though.

I hope that this will bring a cease to the invisible armor topics (I've seen them in General, Look and Feel, Trial, among other forums), and I wish this to be stickied, to prevent said topics.

EDIT: the Starched Padded Leggings are from Sablevein Rubble from Danya Halfmoon in Darklight Woods. Thanks Pouts

Only two invisible shoes I have found are those worn only by brawlers and the "inperceivable beauty" ones from that quest, which I think are now impossible to get? Are you wearing a robe or some other chest piece that over rights your leg appearance? If so then equipping the opulent skirt sold at the status merchant will still give you the bare foot look.

However, that Live Event is due to completed on 18 Nov when the expansion launches. You can get arms (shoulder), forearm, boots, gloves, and chest (only really useful for male characters, shows the refugee white for females).

Just to respond to this thread in general, I would say DO NOT COUNT ON ANY ITEM with a name like threadbare, etc. to be invisible forever. If you really want to be invisible, do the D.I.R.T.Y. quests and get the Imperceptible Beauty items. Then you can be certain that they will be invisible forever and won't get "fixed" in a future update.

A lot of people ran out and got sackcloth and threadbare and other stuff and then surprise, appearances were added for those items. And this was after the Void Shard quests had come and gone so there was an uproar.
