This is probably a really stupid question but I just can't figure it out

I am trying to submit an ingame petition and had just written an essay only to find that when I clicked the continue button at the bottom of the page that it said I had not filled in the sub-category and to use the back button to re-do it.

So i pressed the back button and filled in the sub-category but now the contiue button is greyed out and I can't submit my petition - the only button that is not greyed out is the browse button to attach a document(which I dont want to do) so im really stumped as to how I can proceed....I did click browse in case by doing that and then going back to petition the continue button would be ready to use again ...but it still is greyed out

Please if anybody can tell me what I am doing wrong I would be so grateful as i really dont want to have to re-type the petion all out again in case it happens again.

Thankyou

Oepi

My suggestion would be to highlight the entire essay, hold down the CTRL key, hit C, and copy it to the clipboard. I've had that same situation happen, and don't think there's a fix for it.

Its something in your computer that temporarily stores anything you copy. It only stores one copy so anything else you copy overwrites the previous copy.

What Blood was saying is that after you finish writing your story to copy the story before trying to submit it.

If you hit Ctrl +C it copies, then if it messes up on you when you get to the story part you can hit Ctrl +V and it will paste what you saved in that field. It saves a lot of time.

There are two back buttons on that screen I believe. A browser button and a form button. If you use the one in the top ( browser) it will loose your information and you will need to start over.

No it was not the button at the top of the page, so I think maybe it is a bugged page, but I did manage to copy and paste to a word document and then close the pettion window as that was the only way to move on and then reopened the page and copy and pasted back onto the form and re-submitted.

However when I got my ( very quick )reply, it seems that my petition had been repeated 3 times on the same form !!! but I was very happy and pleased with the good service I received so it was all worth it

Thank you all again for your help

Oepi
