I just ordered a new PC & I've bought a new Rise of Kunark DVD to install on my PC as my old PC & Game DVDs are in my former state & I don't want to have them shipped to my new state so I just re-bought the game. My question is, If I install the newgame to my computer & put in the code to activate it, can I put in my original Station handle & password & play on my current toons?

I'm aware I could just download the game from the Station store but I'd prefer to do the route I just asked as it will be a much quicker process, any and all feedback welcome & Thanks in advance.

Download the Station Launcher Beta. Log in with your normal Station ID and select EQ2. Should start downloading on its own.

Thank you for the reply & I'm aware I can do it this way. I guess what I'm asking though is, Is it possible to log onto my current account from another PC sort of like having an active account & playing on a friends computer who has EQ2 installed on their PC?

I'm doing my best to avoid the download from the Station store as it seems to take days to download, but if you install the game on your PC from the DVDs while you still need to wait for the updating it cuts it from days to hours.

The scenario you describe (log on to your account from a friend's pc that has eq2 installed) should work just fine. Not sure how ppl in eq2 roll, but in SWG there are many ppl with multiple accounts that may use any account from any pc they have (or all accounts on the same pc).

DO NOT use the CD key unless you plan on using it on a 2nd account. There is no needto use that key on an install. When you log in for the first time you will be asked if you wish to use an existing account or create a new one. Just choose exsiting and you will be able to use your old account fine.
