I hand drew the dragon fly than scanned it into the computer. First time I used a drawing in a sig before. It was kind of fun. Just not sure on how to actually color them in the computer. I used pastels to color the dragon fly before I scaned it.

HI Arelli I am probably going to have to make a toon on your server so i can take the screenshots. I usually need a really nigh quality image to work with and the ones linked to aren't going to work. Is there any particular date/time that works best to meet on line? I'm usually around during the day in the Pacific Time Zone.

Talk with you soon,Azuresky

Ah yes, this gets into the amount of time sig artists invest in a sig... only to not have it used. This is a request that all sig artists make of requesters. Please be courteous by requesting from only one artist. It's rude to do otherwise and is inconsiderate towards our time, effort, and money.

Also if youre gonna take youre own screenshots for a sig/screenshot artist, its always best to get the biggest image of the character possible ( closeups ftw!)

The scenery is really unimportant since, chances are, it will be cut away and replaced later on. The bigger the character image, the more room the artist has to work with. And highest quality ensures that the artist will have less noise and stray pixels and/or angles to smooth away.

Of course with a screnshot manip you will also want to have a good angle or pose for the character as well. When I did photo manip images I preferred to take my own screenshots and would often take anywhere from 50-100 ss per character so I would have the most choices of images to choose from.

Oh also a good tip is for screenshots, use bitmap or PNG format, because unless you have your jpeg compression set super low, itll add noise to the image (little annoying specks and distortions) The image file will take up more space, but makes for a better image to start with for the artist.

Here's the tips I have on my sig artist thread... copied and pasted. EQ2 does not allow for saving images in bitmap or .png. It does, however, allow for images to be saved in targa form. When I do a screenshot session, which is rare as I have no free character slots, I'll take anywhere from 30 to 100 shots in different emotes (not combat stance since the scowl looks like you want to rip someone's face off).

1. Please make sure your screen resolution is turned up and your character is well lit when taking your screenshot.TIP #1: Clear screenshots against a contrasting background are easier to cut and therefore are finished faster.TIP #2: Up close screenshots make for better final images. Be sure to zoom your camera in for that lovely pic.TIP #3: For the best quality jpeg image you can get, go to your "Options" menu. Under "UI Settings" will be a section titled "Screenshots." Slide the jpeg setting all the way to its maximum quality.

sorry for causing a problem I didnt realize it was rude to ask for multiple signatures.

I've been away due to work sorry I didnt respond sooner.

I would still like a desktop if you don't mind. I'm sorry for the conflict, I wasn't aware I had to ask before requesting two. I did follow Sapphirius's suggestions so hopefully these are good enough. If they are not I can usually meet around 9:45 pm or after central.

http://ringoson.net/EQ2/EQ2_000003.jpg

http://ringoson.net/EQ2/EQ2_000000.jpg

http://ringoson.net/EQ2/EQ2_000002.jpg

http://ringoson.net/EQ2/EQ2_000001.jpg

Azuresky your signatures are amazing I would be extremely Thankful if you would make one for me

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Colors that you LOVE or Hate 2) Theme? Do you want a theme? (EQ2 specific, Only words, Only graphics, Nature, Ominous, dark, maybe even cruel, etc...) A theme could also be like "New" or "Old fasioned"... stuff like that... 3) Size can help too, if you need it to fit on a particular forum. Some sites require it to be a certain size. They have to be high resolution images and .tga format is prefered from the game screenshot folder.5) Also, Frame or NO Frame.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Love = Greens, Black, Brown, Blue - Hates = Pinks, pastels

2) Nature Yet dark, I imagine a dark forest and my ranger stalking it waiting for his prey

3) Not sure on size, I just know the only forum I post on is this one Eq2players.com

4) I dont have any atm but at your request I could take some (my computers pretty crappy) - If it helps I have a male Woodelf ranger, He has no tattos and the lightest skin color possible - I use saga graphics have white hair and highlights and have the bottom half of the hair choices; low hang ponytail I switch my armor alot so doesnt matter

5) It would depend on the sig, but if so maybe an Ivy leaf type frame? your art work is amazing - if you chose to make me one I'll gladly let you see the end result and decide if you think it would be ncier with or without a frame

Thank you for considering

Kelicor Swift'Bow - Level 62 Ranger

I
