What are the "levels" in the Cure spells?

What do the levels mean in the Cure spells?  Description says cures ## levels of poison, etc, etc.It also says, If Facing Target.  Sooo, do I need to be facing the target that applied the debuff to cure it?  How do I know which mob did it?Please explain.  Thank you!

The cure line is self-only, so the facing target thing doesn't apply and shouldn't be there.  Also, each rank in the spell increases how high you can cure, for example will of the serpent apprentice 1 cures up to lvl 29 effects, adept 3 cures up to lvl 44, and master 1 cures up to lvl 51.  this is a lvl 27 spell so for it to be useful you need at least adept 3, otherwise it will be useless before it upgrades at 41.  Hope that clears it up for you.

Aaaahh OK.  So level refers to the actual Character level of the mob that gave it to you, that would explain why it doesnt always cure.  <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Thanks alot.
