Mouse scroll wheel not working!

Hello, my mouse wheel is not working at all in-game, that is it won't scroll, the middle button won't work to auto-run, nothing. I've tried updateing drivers, the computer simply said that the drivers are up to date.This only occurs in Everquest II.I'm stuck for idea's!Any help would be great!p.s. Sorry if this has been posted already, I've searched the forum and have yet to find a solution.

Perhaps you could give us the mouse name and model....  and perhaps see if there are any updates on the mouse itself...

I'd like give the model but it's a Dell mouse I got with my computer.So I can confirm the make is Dell, USB port optical mouse.Other than that I'm not sure, sorry <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/1cfd6e2a9a2c0cf8e74b49b35e2e46c7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Have you tried to connect another mouse to see if it has the same issues?Do all of the buttons function normally outside of the game?
