View Full Version : Possibly OP solution to our HP regen state

<p>This idea i think has been mentioned before but I couldnt find it in a search today so I wanted to see the rest of the Zerker world's Opinion on it. </p><p>When the game was first out HP regen tanking was possible since mobs didnt hit as hard atleast the Majority.  Now that the game has gone towards the High End Arcade Style that populates the late stages of all MMOs  HP regen would have to be in the insane digits to be effective.   I was thinking about this late last night as I was playing my Zerker and Switched back to my Coercer with all my disperssion gear on I have roughtly 33% chance to proc stoneskin.  My idea was why cant a Zerker have a chance to self stoneskin? The end of the preservation line would be a great place for this to be put.  Instead of a 100% increase in all regen. Why not a chance to stoneskin?  If implemented properly this would fit into our Ethos.  How many of you played DnD 3rd edition where the barbarian has Dmg Reduction which in essence lowered the amount of incoming damage?  That idea just makes sense to me. Zerkers should be so involved in the combat that they simply shrug off some of the incoming dmg.  At this stage in the game with so few Stoneskin items for tanks this wouldnt be game breaking and with the proper amount % based for a stoneskin to proc this could make our otherwise useless  berserker AA tree worthwhile.  </p><p>Just a thought.....geez don't take it personal</p><p>-Raz</p>

HP regen is going away, and will be replaced with a -much- better ability. Can't say more than that though.

Aeralik said regen is going away, so wait until whatever is in store comes out before wanting to change it.
