Hi guys,

I've recently re-installed eq2 onto my system with a 'new' graphics card - nvidia7800.

When I load into full screen, the mouse disappears if i dont use it, and when i do use it, it appears with a box around and flashes on/off.

When i go into window mode, this corrects itself. Go back into full screen and i get the same problem.

I've checked the drivers are all up to date etc.. - has anyone any ideas i can try please (other than play in windowed mode) :)

Thanks in advance!

I have a USB Advent, model MO51BO - this is the 2nd mouse i have tried - original was a PS/2 compaq supplied with the PC - i had the same problem with both, but only in full screen eq2 - everything else is fine

From what I can find (not much) this seems to just be a generic mouse, so I do not believe software can be found and installed for the mouse.Have you tried unplugging and replugging the mouse back in during gameplay? How about using a different USB port?

I've tried switching USB ports, same problem

I've done a full file scan, but again, didn't make an improvement either

ok, didn't find out what the issue was with the mouse, but had to re-install windows due to another reason - this seems to have fixed the issue.

TSR Trevor - thanks for your help anyway - pies, beer & pizza are in the post
