Which of these Boots is better?

I'm trying to decide which of these sets of boots are better as far as a DPS is concerned. Given the choice which would you choice and why?<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/1347694324" target="_blank"><b>Trooper Scale Boots</b></a><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/1758706581" target="_blank"><b>Boots of Skittering Whispers</b></a>  Should add my current melee crit is 51%, DA is 16% and have these boots. <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/-443127744" target="_blank"><b>Daredevil Treads</b></a>, stupid link doesn't show the +1 crit and 50 ca.

Trooper scale in my opinion.  The proc is basically up all the time, so its 10% DA vs 4% Crit, and sense DA and Crit give about the same dps, the trooper scale wins out <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Trooper Scale Boots hands down, with your low DA you will benifit more from those then you will from 3 more crit.

Thanks for the replys guys, I went out and bought a pair of Trooper's. I'll see how they go in SoH tomorrow.

trooper are pretty much the best boots till you cna get the vp set ones

Seems to have done the trick, managed to break 5k on the SoH trash for the first time, while in the MT group with just a Dirge for buffs. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
