Video stuttering

Greetings all.  I am having a problem with my game "stuttering" when I am in full screen mode.  When I go into windowed mode (which I hate) the game plays fine.  What I mean by stuttering is it seems like hitches in the game.. where my character is kind of jumpy.  This all goes away when I go to windowed mode.  I can post my spec's if needed.  I know how to do the dxdiag.. but not sure what from there I need to post here to better help you all help me <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />.  I have tried different settings, different resolutions, still does the same thing I posted above.  Any help would be appreciated.
