It is real frustrating as a Druid having to bid against every healer class for leather armor. When chain or plate drop we are out of luck but leather is open game for everyone. This needs to be changed. Clerics need to be able to equip only plate, Shammys only chain and Druids leather or at least label leather armor by class instead of the generic "priests".

You could be a mage and basically compete with all other 5 of them period, in most cases. Though i'd be a total fan of sorcerer tagged gear =)

Or you should go and check out all those posts shamans and clerics made about how much they hate to wear leather armor and how much they want better chain/plate armor with nice stats, -like what the leather armor has !

(minus chain hat from soh and plate gloves from soh)

They really need to fix itemization for non-leather healers. If they made items with equivelent stats in chain or plate then they wouldn't want the leather.

At Fanfaire they said that the days of chain and plate healers wearing leather are over.

the problem is not that shamans and clerics can wear leather, the problem is that there are not enough plate / chain items, what we need are more items with less restrictions, not the same stuff with more restrictions.
