Random short lockups while playing

<p>When I play eq2 I get some random lockups for about 3-5 secs while playing. Freezes or what you call them. It will sometimes happend but it can go for sometime without happenning.</p><p>I wouldn´t dare to group in an instance with this problem as Im playing a healer class. </p><p>I dont think it is a heat problem my computer seem cool.</p><p>Also my spec is 2,53ghz P4nw and 2gigabyte ddrpc3200 and x800radeon. I got 2 80gb hdds maxtor. My psu is 420w antec.</p><p>I just build the computer from some parts I had.</p><p>I think the computer might be too slow overall but Im only running it on "high performance" settings. Anyone know of a problem with lockups at random times? Its not crashing but freezing then continue to play. Its not only in cmobat but also when travelling around.</p>

Have updated my sound driver fo creative xfi. Also Im defragging hdd. Gonna return later.

<p>This happens to me as well.  I play on a HP Pavillion 9825nr laptop with Vista 64 and all of the newest drivers I could find.  If it would help, I can post my files, but I'm not sure this is only on my computer.  Those freezes are annoying, but I since I don't play a healer, I can still team.</p>
