I have no idea what i am doing or how to explain anything of this nature...

I have a Gateway that has had no probs running EQII with two monitors. I have just replaced the monitors with nice 22" flat panel and now it seems that the computer will turn on, but does not sound like it is booting or that any signal is going to the monitors.

Any help would be great, i can try to give any info requested.

`

try hooking up the old monitors and switch the resolution to something like 800x600@60Hz, and also change the drivers to plug and play instead of the actual monitor drivers (if you have them set up with the actual drivers) then try hooking up the new monitors, one at a time, and see what happens.

usually, when you install a new piece (or pieces in this case) of hardware, and the computer wont boot, put the computer back the way it was, and try at lower settings till it works properly (in the case of monitors anyway).

if that does not work, hook your old monitors up, and if it still boots with them, then backup your data, and then hook up the 2 new monitors and then wipe and reinstall windows, and install the drivers that came with the monitors when you start installing hardware drivers.

If the PC wont boot properly, you will want to bring it to a certified tech.
