Computer Crashing While Playing EQ2

For the last couple of weeks my computer reboots randomly in certain areas of EQ2.  Mostly it is in Qeynos Harbor near the Antonia Bayle statue.  It does this maybe 25% of the time when i run past that area.  The computer just reboots instantly.  Ive monitored the temp and i know it isn't over heating.  I've installed fresh video card drivers.  Performed a system scan. Updated direct x.  Virus/spyware scan, etc.  It will also crash sometimes if im under water somewhere and start swimming up.  I have a feeling that this has to do with water in game but can't figure it out.  I've tried raising and lowering the graphic settings involving water, but no luck.  Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having similar problems.    I never used to crash in EQ2.  Ever.  And sometimes I can't seem to stay logged in for more than 15 min.  I've updated drivers and searched for malware, etc... and I still have issues.I noticed it in the noob area of Gorowyn and Commonlands, zoning to and from Antonica, and in Veeshan's Peek.   But that's not saying much since those are pretty much the areas where I spend most of my time playing.Basically if I play above minimum graphics settings I can't play for long.  It's really frustrating.  This game is starting to remind me of AoC : (  I never had problems with EQ2 until recently.  What's up?
