If a GM ever wants to see a client stability issue that's not fixed, tell them to come visit me, anytime, on Kithicor. There's a client bug I can reproduce anytime I want to on the Thundering Steppes docks. Every SINGLE time I click the bell to Feerrott I get a eq2 client error and crash to desktop. I log back into the game and I'm in Feerrott. Click on the bell and go to Thundering Steppes... No problem. Click the bell to Feerrott? BANG! Desktop.

This happens to me everytime. EVERY... TIME...

Happy to show a GM, Dev, whoever this anytime they feel like watching a live demo

I still crash to desktop during raids, maybe once per hour on average. If I don’t reboot between crashes, it seems to re-occur more frequently, but this could be coincidence. I have chat disabled, but use Ventrilo. This seemed to start with last LU.

My error is the same as OP (illegal memory read, it seems):

Unhandled exception EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0x21115F04Application was trying to read from 0x69562EE4

Having similar crashes with exactly the same alert (along with other), and no responses from anyone with any inside know-how.
