NPC Chat Bubbles Dissapeared - Help!

<p>Ok, either some change within the last week or something I did resulted in NPC chat bubbles dissapearing.  You know the little white cload that appears next to or over an NPC when you talk to a quest giver for example.  I have been through all of my UI settings and nothing seems to result in these chat bubbles being enabled again.  I still get the NPC say text in my chat windows, so I can still read their text, but I am so used to having the chat bubbles pop up, it makes it much easier to read and respond to quest NPCs.</p><p> Can anyone tell me if I CTR-ed, SHIFT-ed, or ALT-ed something out of whack here, or if somehow a box got checked or unchecked in my settings?  I swear I hadn't been into my settings options for weeks!</p>

I believe you can turn those back on in the options panel.  Open the options screen, go to 'User Interface', and scroll down to the 'Name and Chat Bubble' section.  Then check the box next to 'Attach Conversation Bubble to NPC's head'.  Try that out and let us know if it fixes the problem.

Unfortunately this didnt work.  I had already made sure this was checked off.  Any other suggestions?

Are you using a custom UI?If so try to reset back to the default, byt typing in /loadui and then selecting DEFAULT.Alternativley if that fails you can also try deleting the following files and then repatching.eq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2 .exeeq2.ini

<p>Thank you for the help, I actually found out today that it was a problem with the custome UI I use, Fetish Nightfall.  I knew I should have looked there first!</p><p>If anyone else is having a similar problem, they can check out the support forums on the fetish nightfall page and you can find the fix.</p>
