<p>SOE made poritions of the epic weapons quest exciting such as the challenging thrill of chardok solo but harvesting 10 xegonites is just plain stupid and rediculous!!!</p><p> 5 hours  and have only 1 of 10. Come on.. does anyone really find harvesting for weeks exciting? I am ready to chew my own arm off to escape this quest. There is a difference between challenging and a boring crock of steaming crap. Harvesting for a week will not give me any sense of accomplishment. </p><p> This sucks and I feel for anyone that has to do it (including myself). There isn't even any pvp in KOS.. shoudl of at least required me to harvest somewhere my lvl rather than a grey zone. </p><p>Kashmar</p>

1. Have 400 harvesting skill2. Use a player made (tinkered) Overclocked Mining Pick (and anything else that might raise skill, Earring of Solstice if you're an 80 tradeskiller, etc)The point here is that you want the highest skill possible as it increases your chance of getting rares (confirmed by tradeskill dev Domino)3. Go to Tenebrous Tangle, harvest at:a. Gazer Isle (in the temples), some 15-20 nodesb. Breeding Grounds (go forward after landing at the cloud station, angle a bit right and go over the hill, another 15-20 nodes)4. Alter between the two locations, while you're harvesting one the other repops.I had the Earring of Solstice so my skill was slightly higher. It took me 3.5 hours to get all 10.

All the Epics have some kind of Timesink I think..Try doing it with a Warden, you need 50 Reet faction all heroic quests done inside Sebilis...That's a time sink

It sucked TBH. I have my epic now though. I thank the poster who shared the other placed to harvest. I was not aware of the ones at gazer island. It cut my harvesting time in half. thank you.
