<p>after buying the game and loading it i started to play. then the game started to tell me "uisetting.ini could not be writen to, your UI settings cannot be saved" anyone seen this before know how to fix it or anything of the sort. thanks.</p>

Make sure that when you right click on the EQ2 folder and go to properties, that read-only is not selected.

No that is fine.  Can you delete that file and then restart the game?

anyone know what ip_plugin.exe is cause when i start the game that stops working everytime. could that be whats cuse the problem. i wouldnt sweat it if it just came up once but the uistetting.ini thing comes up constantly while playing.

Be sure that your AV/firewall are note removing it while your download this launcher and game....
