T8 abilities - a huge disappointment?

Having recently returned during the summer promotion, I felt the need to dust off my old monk still at 46.Dinged 74 tonight, and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed by the progression of my monk's combat abilities.Example: Flailing Centipede, when taken as a Master II in T7, outdamages an its T8 Adept I upgrade. In fact, The Master II version of the T8 upgrade barely outdamages the T7 M2!Am I doing something wrong, or are the T8 skills for monks just not well thought out at all?

Its not just you, I have actually kept on using my T7 spells as the masters are simply better damage than the T8 ones.The downside is that I miss more often than I would like as the resistability to T8 mobs is obviously higher.Its very very frustrating.

Same here - I actually have a Master Alchemist and not only can I not sell any monk adept IIIs, but my own level 80 monk hasn't bothered to upgrade any of the masters from T7 to T8 Adept IIIs. The power cost/damage increase ratio is nowhere near attractive enough.

Are there any plans by SOE to address this?Have they even acknowledged that it's an issue?

Ding 78.Wow.I can't... just...Wow. The abilities keep getting worse and worse. Does every class have it this bad or just us monks?

Pretty much its because they switched from 14 level progression to 10 level.It hits Monk hard because our CA are such low dmg to start with.

Just don't get me started on how totally cack the monk gear is in general for T8...I just turned in a quest and got a claymore for my troubles that beats out almost anything non instance dropped...Bah.. why do they hate us so?
