I just purchased a Gateway 7811fx laptop and it runs great except for one major flaw. If i switch the game from full screen mode to desktop window mode the mouse jumps up to the top left corner and acts like its on a spring... I checked and the mouse snap is disabled and i also tried an external mouse. the mouse curser turns from windows curser to game curser if i drag it real fast over the EQ2 window and at times it will stay put on the screen but if I touch the mouse POP back up to the ltop eft corner it goes.p84009800gtsvista 644gigsThank you for any help you can offer.Enslavior
I have the exact same laptop and I don't have an issue switching between full and windowed mode. Sounds like it may be something specific to your particular laptop.

Is there any software for this device to install?

The laptop comes with software pre installed... strange that Taz has same laptop without the mouse issue. Best work around ive found is to alt/tab to take window mode into the tray allowing me to regain mouse control to start teamspeak and or other desktop applications...

I am still having this problem with only eq2 none of my other SOE products are bugged and even complete delete of launcher and eq2 folders and reinstalling have fixed this.

Vanguard (SOE) runs without a problem this is only a EQ 2 bug. I am now on my 4th mouse. this is not a hardware problem this is only eq2 interface problem when not in full screen mode.
