Rise of Kunark

I am currently playing the game but I find that I dont have"Access to sertain items like using points for achievements ect.I have the Rise of Kunark and my guildies say I shoudl be able to do those things. I even used my activation code twice to make sure its in but its still not working.. is there somethign I dont know about?
