Leather armor vs. Chain

I was just wondering what the assassin communtiy opinion is on whether to wear leather or chaim armor.  So far, at level 33 some of the MC leather pieces seem better than chain for the stats they provide.  Leather seems to have higher stregth and agility.  It probably wouldnt hurt to wear a few pieces of nice leather right?

I'm lvl 80 and a raider, and I still have 2 pieces of leather gear that I wear. For one of them, I'm not sure there's even a better piece in the game. At your level, the mit from chain only matters if you are soloing. Before you spend money on the rares, find some decent leather and chain pieces and go test out your survivability. Wow, I'm about to necro post this, aren't I? I can't help myself, the submit button is calling to me. It wants me to submit to its will. See, now I've gone all crazy, there's no way I'm gunna push the button now.

A piece or 2 of leather will most likely not harm you...but don't go full leather...at those lvls you still mostly solo....which means you still get hitted often so mitigation still has quite some meaning...even more as you're "only" using MC which doesn't really put you high on the return curve.
