I always liked having the extra stun with an ogre, so i made an assassin. When i made him, i did not pay attention to any of the other racial traits. The rat and DE have the 25% poison proc which looks nice. 25% seems like a big difference to me did i mess up badly by making an ogre? I plan to duel a lot with him.I am lvl 22 now, not much of a problem to redo this char

A big ogre making tremors across the earth and stinking up the place isent very stealthy in my opinion.

i personally think its funny to think about......An ogre hiding in a tree waiting to jump down in a stealthy attack. An ogre creeping up behing someone quietly I will probably reroll him.. dont think the stats really suit the class.

(( great choice imho.highest natural STR, stun cure on quick recast timer (REALLY handy in pvp, handy in raids, grouping, soloing, etc. (Cure your own stuns saves lots of potions!)nice str self buff too on a quick recast!STR will only help you before you get to 80 and in a raid, after you are 80 and raid up your str should be capped pretty easily, but when solo, and before level 80, the str is a HUGE help.Size matters, which is why its great when you kill someone in pvp and you are as big as a house, yet they still didnt see you coming

i was kinda thinkin the same.. an assassin does dps.. why not choose the race that has the most str..I picture a big ogre sneaking around on tiptoes trying to hide behind a small tree. Kinda like in transformers the movie when the robots were trying to hide around the house.. then one hits the power line and smacks the ground cause he is so big and clumsy,, and shakes the ground

I wasent trying to get you to reroll your class.. I was only making humor. But ogre assassin is a great idea.

See I picture an Ogre assassin as an overt killer. You see them everyday, dont pay them any mind; after all he is just the kitchen help... Then one day when no one is paying attention your after dinner wine is brought and *wham* you are dead before you know it the kitchen help has vanished and no one finds your rotten corpse until the maid comes in to clean the room the following day...

Or the other way around, a shrinked gnome tanking in VP

I was going to say... my very first toon I ever made... and is sorta retired... is a Gnome Paladin... when he's shrunk it's very funny. My comment is... are ogres smart enough to be assassins? I've known a lot of ogre tanks and if they're not careful, they're start attacking a tree by mistake.I think you should dress him/her up in disguise... to make him blend in... like a dress or something... it will add to the overall stealth concept. It also reminds me of a joke..."why do elephants wear green sneakers"? "I don't know...""So they can hide on pool tables" "???""Ever seen an elephant on a pool table?" "No""See how well it works!"Keep the ogre... it's great irony... if you need a tank... look me up and we'll complete the effect
