I think I worked their adventure class themes in a bit better. I liked the incarnadine bed and I figure the EQ theme is pre-1950's seperate beds thing isn't too anachronistic. That and I was doing a his and hers thing almost all the way through. Anyway, bedroom.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000040.jpg?t=1220410987" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>And of course something for the alts.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000038.jpg?t=1220411949" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>And cause this just seemed the best place for it:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000035.jpg?t=1220412016" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>So it all comes together as:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000036.jpg?t=1220412104" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Now both of them were rather hardcore raiders so they needed a ready room.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000041.jpg?t=1220412197" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Yeah, had some trouble placing the right side hand thingie: Same with the display case on the right.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000042.jpg?t=1220412270" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Whatever, I was busy working past the druid portals.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000043.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></p><p>Next Post: Druidic Sanctum</p>

<p>So, this was done when ROK was brand new and I haven't been able to actually sit down and level a carpenter. I had a very limited budget and at the time, as it may be now, you couldn't stack on my layered garden whatevers. Anywhere, here's what I got.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000045.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Worked nice from my angle.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000046.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>And from inside the park, cause you can't see from my fae view, or maybe arasai, I can't remember.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000048.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>So eh.....</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000050.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>That was the other major view I worked from.</p><p>The center piece being:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000051.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>I have to point this out, because it's kind of my signature thing. The Snake in the Garden of Eden:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000047.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>One last piece (btw, there are beavers in the far right side pond, but I think they detract, pets are for the owners, not the screenshots)</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000053.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Oh, I'm an arasai, nice.</p><p>Back to the kitchen.</p>

<p>So eh, the music thing looked good from my angle: </p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000054.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Anyway, back to the kitchen</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000055.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>It's a really simple kitchen, last room I got around to and has the real left overs.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000091.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000093.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000094.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>So yeah, there are some posts with amazing kitchens, I'm thinking about blowing one of those portal things on this house, going back to finish it all up and make some overhaul here. Still, I don't think I can add an aquarium I want here without putting me way over the count (since this was like 580 something already.)</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000095-1.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>So now we move onto the best for last, the wanderlust wizard, ever lost in thought. His wife has the attic, he gets the basement. Of course, sometimes he forgets he has a book in his hands as he is called to dinner (despite being in a freaking library.)</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000090.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Yeah, I like a kind of "lived in" feel. But the druid kept going around and cleaning up after he and I. As I hear it, when she heard I was going to post on the showcase, she took the clockwork bots, killed all the pets and hid them in the secret room. No poo lying around in a shot, and none to step in so I guess that was good.</p><p>Last post, the pequena finale; The Wizard's Retreat</p>

<p>So I was excited about the new book shelves, I added a couple books into here and there to try and make it look like it was a bunch of the same shelf, but whatever. Here's what I got for the Stacks:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000085.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>It is two leveled, so yes, it qualifies as stacks:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000086.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>And no, that's not the wizard, he's a gnome.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000089.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>I thought it looked better there..... what were we talking about? Oh yeah, the second level of the stacks.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000087.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Now whatever you do, don't tell his wife that the room goes deeper than that.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000088.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Like he's really spending all that time down stairs researching. I'm just suprised she hasn't smelled the prize for his endeavors in the middle easterrrrrrrr desert lands:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000057.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Hooooooka... Maybe it was from the Kingdom of Sky.</p><p>Moving on:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000058.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>I wasn't sure if I should show that angle cause of the misc crap to the right or the slightly cooler:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000073.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>View where you can see the back of the stacks raised area. So I included them both.</p><p>If you don't like the layout, at least appreciate the photography:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000076.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Or at least the graphics of the game that my commodore 64 basically committed suicide to view at this level:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000074.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Seriously, look at the concept art:</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000077.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>It's my first showcase post, I'm posting what I like, sorry if it seems excessive.</p><p>So we have the Library, the work room, and now for the wizard's practical performance room. The lands of fire and ice.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000059.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>I thought the xegonite thingies were kinda like, eh, spires. And the rug was sorta magical like.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000064.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>So the statues represent or could be construed as mini-spires. To the same end, the spires aren't as great as the magika that flows higher and greater.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000060.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>I know, lots of this room, but I spent a bit of time here.</p><p> <img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000069.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>And there are spots where, cause the floor is raise, fire comes directly from the ground, but I didn't get any shots of it aparently.</p><p><img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr339/Straturli/EQ2_000071.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></p><p>Now I've shown this around to a lot of people on the server, but typically they were people that have never spent much time on their own rooms, maybe once or twice walked into a decently decor'ed place. Generally their feedback has been positive, would appreciate some constructive criticism. Not that their opinions were appreciated and respected, I would just like to hear what the experts have to say. TYVM.</p><p>Coming soon, next thread, my first house.</p>

I like it very much! Especially the fire and ice area for the wizzy... I may have to borrow that idea.... but I'll have to wait til frostfell to make about a million more snowdrifts- all mine are stuck in aquariums!

Nice job! I see theres lots of new goodies since I've left the game 10 months ago. Gonna have to spend more time in Kunark now.

As any hard core decorator will tell you, there is no such thing as excessive decorating or excessive pictures of said decorating. I like the hidden "mens" room and all the snow drifts give a great affect.
