View Full Version : Omitting cyclone tree with mythical

<p>With the mythical weapon the cyclone tree becomes more useless than it had been before anyway. The only good point remaining in it is taunt improvement. Though direct taunts are only a very little percentage in a berserker's aggro build, the bonus concerning taunt resistability may not be underestimated in a pulling situation.</p><p>With everything else but the taunt improvement being neglegectible or useless, one may ask how to spend the 21 free points.</p><p>I have gone down debilation and bulking trees so far. With the mythical, in-combat HP reg takes a minor step towards usefulness and Hold Rage without penalty is quite nice, too. So I was thinking to spend 3 Chaos, 5 Blood Rage, 5 Relentless Rage and 5 Hold Rage. 3 may go into debilation's Head Crush (rest of debilation already 5 + end). This would be a substitution build to 21 cyclone.</p><p>Or are the range increase and resistability bonus of cyclone worth 21 points?</p>

I couldn't imagine what it would be like without this end-line ability.<div></div><div>Also adding range to Gibe with +5 hate is AWESOME! </sarcasm></div><div></div><div>I mean for S&G I put 5 points into the HP regen for our mythical and now with Ill Will I don't even cast that buff anymore. I've been too lazy to respec since there isn't anything in that tree that I would want/need to change to. A whole branch for PVP stuff? Bah.</div>

Sometimes even spiking over 200. The most precious thing in agi is of course the end ability which I have been using a long time and saved many of my lives. The auto ae attack of course is completely useless. The dragoon spin is semi usefull since it can be used to pick up and binding raoming add (only 1s cast time in comparison to the longish 2s ae CAs).</p><p>Berserker: </p><p>With the mythical I have a free hategain of about 750ish per tick without doing anything for that. Suppressed Rage can be used without penalty. The cyclone tree is totally useless except the end ability which you would have to spend (waste) 20 points for.</p>

Do you PVP? You must if you've maxed out all the CAs like that.You talk about wasting points in cyclone and you did mention you have your myth (so you raid). You should see how many of those maxed out CAs effect epic targets. I can help you, the answer is 1.Have you been in a situation where Adenaline hasn't saved your bacon more than Reflexes would? I'll admit Reflexes is pretty cool, but my god the AGI line is horrible for us!Your zerker tree is probaby the most unique I've ever seen I'm not gonna lie. Also not putting 5 points into death prevention seems a bit odd when our tree has the most random stuff on it. I thought for sure that was a gimmie.

I never read spell descriptions.</p><p>As you might be able to recognize on a second look, I haven't specced death prevention.</p><p>Even without cyclone end I haven't the faintest aggro problems. So why then waste 20 points in cyclone of which everything is totally useless with the mythical? Destrustion recast only because I didn't know where to spend those points in that totally crappy berserker tree. The mythical makes a whole branch useless. Great job, SOE. Time to fix that tree.</p><p>About 750 additional aggro per tick isn't that bad. At least better than any of the non-end-cyclone effects.</p><p>What do you actually need from that great berserker tree? Taunt strike increase. Berserk proc increase. Juggernaut endurance and clicky berserk. Cyclone end should increase the range of auto attacks instead of those useless ae CAs.</p>
