Downloading = Fail...

<p>alright, so i finally decided to do as my friend said and give EQ2 a try, decided to get the trial. He gave me his copy of the CDs for the all in one pack from echoes of faydwer, said it would save hours on the downloading for the updates, so i installed them before getting the trial. Kept myself occupied while the remaining files updated, and at last it dropped down to about 15 minutes remaining... when this started. it keeps stopping and saying "-------- was unable to download, please try again in a few moments."</p><p>ive just let it go for awhile now, and i do believe the file it couldnt download has changed so i think it may be making progress, but its killing me having to wait so long. is it an error on my end? and if so, is there a way to fix it?</p>

and of course the forum hates me, so it put everything i typed into one big link. i guess EQ2 just dosent want me >.<

<p>Are you on vista?</p><p>If so, are you running eq2's patcher in administrator mode?</p>

yes, i did switch to administrative mode, but it didnt seem to help. 3 hours later now and its still sitting there.
