When Did Dogdog go to just a single down arrow?

I must have missed something on the pets for Defilers and Mystics, but when did they go to a single down vs. a triple? I tend to play a lot of characters due to a bad case of hamster brain but I swear the last time I was playing these two classes the pet was a triple down. As a single are they noticably better than before? They seem to be able to stand a hit a tad better anyway and dont get one shot nearly as often but I am still in the upper 20s and low 30s at the moment.

Couple updates ago they boosted the dogs usefulness

Yeah, I think it was during or before the summer hollidays. haven't played my defiler for a while now but last time I saw that change too and was happy about it.

They said they would make him a single down arrow several updates ago, but didn't actually do it until this last update. Dog-dog doesn't hit any harder (that I've noticed), but he does have a lot more HPs.

I was playing my lowbie defiler a while ago and didn't notice... must have been before the update. But then again, I barely notice when the thing dies...
