Hi,I recently took up the legacy trial as I intend to come back to the game, however, this is the first time ive ran the game on my new PC, specs are as follows.AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+GeForce 8800GT4GB RAMEVERYBODY ive spoken to says that I should be able to eat EQ2 up with this system however once I log in I can barely run balanced at a steady FPS (i'd say i get below 30), why is this? It doesn't make sense?The main issue however is that randomly (after say 10 minutes and no later than maybe 40 minutes) my screen will just go black, as if somebody has switched off my PC however the PC is still running, meaning I have to restart the computer.This has happened, EVERY SINGLE TIME.Please somebody help me fix it so I can get playing properly again.I've been able to run AoC at max settings so I know my PC is capable.Cheers.

the problem, so I tried rolling them back to a previous driver at the advice of another forum, I dont believe the driver is the issue here.

The DXdiag doesnt list any drivers on that graphics card....Could the card be overheating? Perhaps open up the case and see if it needs cleaning... keep it open and try the game... just dont fry it *wink*Keep in mind that Eq2 doesnt seem to use the dual cores..... I have a dual core and I get under 30 FPS consistantly.....

There were no drivers listed as I rolled them back and used a beta version, that still didnt work. Using the most updated drivers and that doesn't work either.I don't think the fan is over-heating as A) I have already cleared the PC out, very minimal dust in there as it was cleaned a short while ago when I got the GFX Card.B) I upped the fan speed on the graphics card a little bit just to be sure.If there are any other suggestions then please let me know, I currently can't play like this and my trial peroid has just ran out. Not sure if im going to subscribe unless I KNOW that I can play properly.
