I have read many of the posts about resists rates on epic raid mobs. Do these resists rates affect Wizards for all mobs? I have maxed out my subjugation and disruption skill. I have purchased adept III's of my root and the nukes for my current level which is 24. The other day, I was root nuking non heroic no arrows mobs 1 level above me (25) and it seemed like I had many many resists on root ,fire chamber, ball of fire, and plasma strike. What can I expect percentage wise for resist rates on my spells? It started to become a little frustrating when 3 roots in a row failed or 2 ball of fire in a row failed (granted I could debuff the mob with my fire/cold debuff but this is a dot and wouldnt help with root probably).

I have a few more solo related questions. It seemed like a lost cause most of the time if it pulled an additional mob. Am I pretty much only able to solo one mob without dying or running away? Root does not refresh fast enought to really handle multiple mobs. One last item, what kind of graphical effect is there suppose to be for ball of fire? I did not see a ball of fire heading towards the mobs or any noticeable fire effect when the spell hit. Blaze has a fire affect on the mob so Im not sure what is supposed to happen here. Perhaps it is related to the very high performance game settings that I use.

yes you can root many multiple mobs. it gets easier after 40somethin when you get your group root. however, the single root refreshes -much- faster than its duration, so I dont really see your problem there. you get more than one? then either leash em, numbing cold and pick em off as they crawl to you, or root em and cycle.....course at 24 you need more spells. as far as resists. thats just how it goes. sounds like youve done all you can now pray to the gods of RNG wizards spell effects are lame. in fact, every spell effect in this game is lame. good thing I play to raid the top mobs and not really worry about aesthetics, but I see where you're comin from.
