defiler run speed

<p>would be of interest what is the max run speed of defilers. since they are of the shaman class getting just 20% sowthru lvl 80  seems rather rediculous</p><p>maybe im miss understanding the aa tree but i see no run speed enchancements. any info would be appreciated</p><p>thanx</p>

Defilers get no SoW enhancement--that's one of the perks Mystics get over us.  The same can be said about Furies vs. Wardens.  Wardens get the SoW enhancement AA's, while Furies do not (though they do get upgrades to their short term cheetah run speed buff).  We get extremely potent class AA's compared to Mystics that far outstrip the benefit of a run speed AA enhancer.

I've been running at 45% or better since T6 (carpet or better), and Totem of the Chokadai in zones.  The little that it costs to maintain that speed is well worth the AA lines we have been given.....in my opinion.

One thing makes me mad: SoW buff = +20% run speed, SoW totem = +25% run speed.Anyway, SoW stacks with JBoots + racial bonus to runspeed. This would bring you up to 35% runspeed (or 40% with the SoW totem).Or you can get the solstice earring from the crafter epic with a clicky +45% runspeed buff for 24h (playtime). JBoots and racial traits will stack with the solstice earring buff. Or you can get one of the various mounts. But JBoots and racial bonus will not stack with the mount buff.

I just run with the crafter clicky, the 5% racial speed and my jboots, so I am normally running at 60%. Nice thing is it all works in dungeons and running backwards as well. It was well worth my time to get that crafting epic. The only way I have found to get faster is to have a trouby friend buff me, which can get me to 67%.
