Slacker Bruiser Gets His Katana's

<p>I finally went through the agony of killing 13 tempests to acquire the world event pieces I wanted for my necro. While I was perusing the options, something caught my eye. A 1hander katana specificly for use by brawlers. Not even lore, so you can dual wield them.   </p><p>I found this most interesting because I have been saying for so long that no one more than a brawler is most fitting for a katana, yet there is no katana ingame that a brawler could use. So, I concluded that they put this item in there to satiate all the aggravated brawlers that have been wanting to look more like a samauri.  </p><p>Of course, what's the point if the weapons blow? They have stats on em of course, but you'd have to be a whackjob to seriously equip them in battle. UNLESS they are seriously considering implementing weapon appearance slots. Thoughts?</p>

<p>I got a pair each for my bruiser and my monk.  They look great.  Unfortunately they're strictly for ceremonial use.</p><p>I think that everything on that vendor is basically fluff.  Stuff like house items which look nice but don't really do anything great, or armor or weapons with very unexciting stats.  For fluff they're great.  I've been redecorating my house with some of that stuff and for awhile was wearing the Gi they provide in my appearance slot.  But that's about all the utility any of that has.</p><p>It would be cool if they had some katanas which had decent stats.  I'd MUCH rather wield a katana then something which looks like a wrench.</p>

They are more DPS and faster than handcrafted weapons 5 levels above them. *shrug*
