Assassin AA & Weapon Guidance Please...

Hi all....I have a newbie Assassin that I made for soloing.....Currently level 18I have a few questions about weapons......i.e. what type of weapon should I be going for? I made myself a couple of Mastercraft Blackened Iron Longswords....But I dont think this is working....Seems there is a low hit rate on these weapons, i.e. long time between swings....Once I fire off my abilities and waiting for normal swing it seems to take a while....Whats people thoughts on a good weapon to use as a soloing Assassin.Also.....I have accumulated a few AA's and would like to know what your thoughts are on AA for soloing & how to progress AAThanks in advance
