I just reformatted my computer and did I clean install of EQ2. I tried to log in, and the launcher says I don't have an EQ2 subscription... I find that odd, but I go to resubscribe anyway. Then I come to find that my account is no longer flagged for any form of Everquest 2, so to resubscribe I'd have to buy the game again. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? I can't spend another 40 dollars on the game again, and I'm not sure I'm willing to considering I have the discs and my account worked fine a matter of days ago.. After all the computer trouble I've been having lately, I just want to play this game again

Try going to www.eq2players.com, login with your username and password and see if your EQ2 characters are shown (click the characters button). If they are, it's the right account and you have some other problem, if they are not, it's a different account.

Verify you have the correct account information
