Not sure if this is the right place to ask, or if the Zones forum is better, but here 'goes. I was in North Qeynos the other day and once again noticed the nice-looking mansion that is the Ironforge Estate, way up against the north wall. On my map, there's a zone instance marker that claims to go to the Elusive Commonwealth, a tradeskill instance.I probably wandered around the perimiter of the building for 20 minutes trying to find some way in, or some external doorway that was hidden under the ivy.So.... is this something that doesn't exist anymore? Is there some quest/faction standing/firstborn child thing I'm missing?

The Elusive Commonwealth is the tradeskill society in Nettleville. The Ironforge Exchange moved out of the northern mansion, and into the furniture store near by the bank a few live updates ago.

That place would be nice for the GH's in Q.

A few GUs ago, when they put all the additional NPCs in the city zones they put the Ironforge NPCs and a bunch of crafting stations in the building across from the bank, and moved the TS instance into the basement of that building (accessible by the usual TS entrance on the outside). The map probably just has the old entrance marker yet. Best way to get it fixed is to /bug it in-game. If you're using EQ2Map, make sure the problem's not with it's custom stuff.

Ok, thanks for the answers!I hope they do SOMETHING with the mansion, it's too nice looking to just let it sit idle.

*grin*Now I'm picturing ghosts wandering about the mansion doing NPC speeches about how they wouldn't be cursed to walk these halls if they'd only countered that one "white hot metal" reaction, all those years ago...

/bowsThank you, thank you. Every once in a while I manage to pull off a decent set up to a scene. /chuckleAlso, I picture them saying, "If that darn Nathan hadn't run in bugging me about seeing a gnoll..."

Most likely this issue is an out of date version of EQ2Maps that just needs updating.

The estate still belongs the the Ironforge's I believe. I think they have a deal witht he goblins, notice that one room is always blocked off? That is where they keep their furniture I think

I am still hoping that this building will be converted into crafter only houses!

Don't forget that many Frostfell quests start in front of the mansion too. It's the location where you can/were able to get your Frostfell trees and wreaths.

Too bad it doesn't have a Frostfell theme inside like halloween one.
