Recently I started a new job that will take me away throughout the week from home (I am sleeping in hotels and alike).
Now things are getting back to normal again (new jobs can make live very hecktic ), I want to play in the evening Everquest again. So I am considering to buy a notebook.

Most notebooks I see have Windows Vista Home Premium with 2 or 3gb memory. I think that is alright.

But I am wondering about the videocard. Most affordable notebooks haven a nVidia 8400 or a Ati X2300 card. Are these good enough to play Everquest II?I don't need super graphics, I just want to play.Maybe to compare with: I have a Radeon X1300 Pro 256Mb and with the performance of that card I am very happy (only during raids I have to switch to balanced performance and as I don't raid that often, that is very okay for me).

Any advice or suggestion would be very welcome.

Thanks,

Femke.

Be wary that the EQ2 client does not officially support any 'mobility' chipset. If you get one of those monstrous desktops in disguise notebooks that have a full non mobility graphics card and such on it you might be ok.I tried to run EQ2 on an ATI mobility chipset before and it would constantly crash the GPU.
