Woot! Qeynosians now have to bell it up a notch to go to BBM, just like everyone else (Druids and their affiliates discluded, of course )! Those gosh darn gosh darns! Besides, the Kelethinian SS carpet evens things out. Although, I hope SOE is being sneaksy and hiding a 6th city and a new Qeynosian race from us in this new expansion, as that avenue still has room for equalizing.

Less discos for my noobles getting Kelethinian book quests FTW.

You are missing the point: the point is NOT that there's a carpet in Kelethin - about time btw. The point IS that The carpet to Sinking Sands in Butcherblock has been removed.

Why are they removing this? Is it costing any RL money to maintain?? Is its existance making things more difficult for people?

If anything, they should remove the ISGOOD check from the carpet in SS and allow everyone in Norrath travel to BBM from SS.

NN I agree, if so! haha. The BBM to SS carpet doesn't need to be removed, nn that's true as well! Although this might best be placed in Combat/Gameplay. If you're wondering why it was removed, yes; it's simply to spite exiles. Just means we have to be carnaged flagged now in order to reach SS unless you already have the call.

Perhaps they removed it to stop people running from pvp fights they had engaged in. Many times I've seen people run for the carpet after they realise they are losing.

Lame, if they are gonna take that option from BBM, they need to take it from DLW as well, since the outlying Q area of Gfay now has the carpet, and Neriak now has the carpet, its even and thus keeping it in DLW is an imballance. hmmmm, wonder why that is.....

Might I also point out that any freeport toon now has a direct access to KP and Q toons do not. How is that ballanced. hmmm, wonder why that is.....

Wanna go to KP as a Freport? No worries, Dev's have ya covered for that if your freeport toon

EFP Docks / Neriak => SS => Gorowyn => KP no sweat, no level restrictions.... must be nice. I didnt see them adding any direct zone to KP for Q's, hmmm, wonder why that is....

Nor do i see them adding any direct access to both the black market for Q / Freep side, or the Black market for All factions (exile included) in a city where you can browse at your leisure without fear of dying to PVP attacks. as they do for Freeports in Gorowyn... Hmmm, wonder why that is....

Just more evidence that has been released to show which side the Dev's play....

A side note, off topic, one of the coolest looking zones in the game, New Tunaria, is completely left in the dark as far as access. Very cool zone, (start up character select screen backdrop) yet only way to access it is to go to GF and run for 30 minutes to get there. Seems such a waste of a cool zone, how about a carpet or something more for that zone. Open it up a bit for PVP and questers and what not who actually want to explore and play in cool worlds without running for 45 minutes.

New Tunaria ... that place really could use some access improvements. Great place for PvP, thanks to all the roamers. Also a great place to quest. A portal to the entrance would get it some attention.

There is no boat or bell access possible. This cuts them off from the global mariner bell grid, and why a carpet was needed to connect them.Gorowyn already had a portal to KP anyways, technically it didn't make sense that there was no boat bell from KP-Goro and back. They are both Coastal Kunark zones very close to eachother. How dare Qeynos want safe access to the fence like Freeport has!!! Qeynos has a long ways to go, to catch up to the vast production Freeport has in its wine factory.
