Wondering if I should change to a Wiz

I have been away from the game for about a year and have been playing for a few days now and I am lvl 74, but I was wondering if I should change to a wizard instead of staying a warlock. Wanted to get some thoughts from people that have been playing the whole time RoK has been out.

What attracts you to the Wizard class? Warlocks are for groups of mobs, Wizzards are better for one.  Are you more interested in doing DMG to one mob I assume?

<p>I have betrayed to wizard about 4 times on this toon and finally just went back to warlock.... as much as I complained about warlock I've finally accepted I like it best. LOL</p><p>When I solo I just use the direct dmg spells (no dots, chain the nukes back and forth between dissolve(hit this as soon as it refeshes, its fast) and whatever else is up)... doesn't break root as much. Also, upgrade your roots to adept III it helps if you haven't. </p>

From reading here and some other places seems that there are not that many grouped mobs anymore. So what the big reason to have warlock on raids. I want to be useful on raids and not be there just cause I am friends with everyone and the just want me there cause they like me.</p><p>I loved the warlock class before I left the game for awhile (let cause of new job), but now it just seems that a lot of things have changed. Reports from Fan Faire about the next expansion indicate there will be a lot more AE content there.  I'll admit I've thought about betraying to Wiz in RoK also, but don't really want to change *that* much, and if TSO adds more AE stuff then I'll be happy to stay warlock.  As it is, I'll wait it outm and see.  If TSO doesn't deliver on the AE content, then I may consider becoming a wiz instead at that point.
