I was looking through some screenies and noticed this. I had to laugh, it pretty much sums up my 126 days of in game time as a zerker:

I just got depressed everytime I saw these kinds of replies... I finally just rerolled. I 'm keeping my zerk around tho, just in case he becomes useful again someday (I'm more fo a zerker at heart)

Ive never really noticed what was so useless about a berserker.. thats only because I dont see much of an issue with them. I just deal with what I got, and love my class. Would never turn in a zerker for a guardian. Just not my thing.

only an idiot would turn down a zerker for lyceum, seriously.

i know its not the same comparison anymore since zerk mythical is more AE focused but, i tripled the parse over a mythical equipped warlock while screwing around on a lyceum run. he had a troub and no illusionist but i still kind of chuckled how i pulled that whole raid along like a train, the next highest dps was less than half what i was pushing out. yes i know it's sad that pure dps classes weren't coming close but keep in mind it was a pickup raid after all. i was pushing out about 8k zonewide before gnorbl, the raidwide was about 24k.

I can put out some nice DPS on my zerk, but it's been my experience that everyone still has the idea that zerks are 'just another plate tank'

we're pretty much swashbucklers in plate.

Lyceum was my favorite back then. Yummy groups. I'd looooove to go back there with the Mythical, but even long before it that zone was Berserker heaven.

Just have to hope that TSO offers more Lyceum-like raids and instances, aka plenty of grouped mobs.

Every indication from devs says that much of TSO will be AoE focused.

Which means we can look forward to (Drum roll please) More AE DPS/Aggro tools for Guardians! (I kid, I kid...)

Yes it makes me sad. Even my guild gives me crap about our tanking. Even though I'm pretty sure I can tank just fine, its always "guards are soo much better".Yay for TOS being AoE focused. *Tear* That guards will prob get like mad AE dps gear/abilities or something ridiculous like that.

devs have admitted there is an inbalance that needs to be addressed. interesting they are planning on doing it through content... just means guilds will have to gear up multiple MT's... hmm economic syphoning ftw!
