manaburn for raiding wizard

I would visit the wizard section on eq2flames and look through some parses on the thread sticked 'The New Parse Thread'. That might give you a good idea.

Yes.  If you can gather enough power items/have decent enough group setups manaburn is wonderful.  It comes down to, can you cast manaburn and keep chaining your spells?  Or do you cast manaburn and sit like a lame duck, hit a power feed, cast a spell, zero power again, etc etc.  If you have the means and resources then yah, manaburn can be treated like just another spell in our rotation, in which case its very awesome =)
