View Full Version : How to use adrenaline?
<p>I am finally closing in on 80 and will be using adrenaline as soon as I get my alchy to make the adept III. That being said when is the best time to use adrenaline or is it totally situational. Is it press the button at any time or do I need to be berserk to make it work.</p><p>Please feed me some info on this. </p><p>Thanks</p>

You need to be berserk to use it, that's one reason the bulking AA line is so highly recommended. I use it a) when spiking damage or b) in conjunction with Juggernaut to build large amounts of hate quickly.
Thanks for your reply! One last question and that is will I be totally out of power once it expires?

Its only takes 2k or so power so if you are at 2k power when you use it more than likly you are going to be sitting there with no mana when it terminates. To be honest the power requirement on it is way to much I dont see guardians havign to wait 1-2 min for power after they use tower of stone..........

Actually the use of Adrenaline and juggernaut raises a few questions I've had as well.When pulling, sometimes the mob's spike damage can take drastic chunks of my health out. I understand how Juggernaut can quickly gain hate with it's Melee crits, but it's mitagation hit is pretty signifigant.I like to save Adrenaline when the healers start to slack, though I've actually died on a few pulls in the past in areas such as Chelsith... Should I try to pull with adrenaline more often to stop the death on pulling circumstance?

<p>If you are are over 50% mitigation and on a pull in chelsith that is your healers fault not yours.</p><p>You can try pulling in defensive stance but that aside you should not have to use adrenaline except perhaps on named, Multimob encounters, or Epics.</p>
i tend to mostly use it on pulls for raid mobs because of spike damage on pull. otherwise i keep it in reserve and hit it when something silly happens like a healer eats an AOE they shouldnt have...

I'll use it as a save (ie. not on pull) when I see my health spiking or if I've got a bunch of mobs and pop Juggernaught (use it to balance out the mit loss) <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

im not quite 80 yet on my zerker (71), but upon talking with other zerks on my server who are lvl 80, most told me to use it as an emergency "get out of group wipe free" card, to build alot of agro fast if the mob seems to be pinballing between the healer trying to keep the group alive, and the <insert DPS class here> that has somehow ganked the agro off you (usually a wizzy early nuking).

It's a great tool for an emergency, but it doesn't do anything to build agro. I think you have adrenaline and reinforcment (guarding spell that on every attack brings them a one level of hate) mixed together <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
