EQ2 does not install

I have had an EQ2 account before, but my computer fried and it has taken me a little while to get up and running againThe problem I have, is that when I put the DVD into the drive, it opens the contents and when I double-click on Setup, <b><u>XP</u></b> tells me that D:/Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 Application.Can anyone help me?

If you are using VISTA try checking out this link <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=422520" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=422520</a>If that does not help I would install the <a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Station Launcher</a> and use that to install.

I say in my message that I run XP...This is the exact same OS that I had running when I had my other computer, just new hardware.

Oops, sorry I missed that.Have you been able to run it from the disk before?If the disk has gone bad, you'll want that Launcher link as well then.

Yes. On my other computer I was able to install and run it with no problems.  I have no purchased the disks again. Is there something on the disk that prevents anyone from installing the game onto another computer?

I downloaded the Station Launcher and started downloading EQ2. However, it has given me the same error message over and over again when it gets to the same file. <a href="http://soecontent.station.sony.com/patch/lp2/eq2/en/patch1/optional-en/eq2.bik" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://soecontent.station.sony.com/...onal-en/eq2.bik</a> failed to download, please try again.This is not making me happy.
