Guild Chat Feature and Station Launcher

I'm not sure if this is really the spot to ask.. however, is there any intention on adding a guild chat feature to the new station launcher pre-release of it? I noticed that there is nothing on it as of now. I was just wondering because I think it would be a cool idea.
