This is a long awaited feature by many in the EQ2 communities and it is one of those things that I'm sure everyone agrees should be tested thoroughly. It is also one of those things that I think is *perfect* for Test Copy in that you can have well funded guilds move over en-masse and give you great feedback. And considering the investement you've made in that server, you absolutely deserve to see some return on it.But a lot of regular test players are going to be feeling somewhat left out of that. There is constant fantasizing in the channel about all the ways you're going to ensure that it gets "tested" which, if we're honest with ourselve we know will happen, which means that the fantasizing is more that we're not going to be left out.I can't think of a great solution to this problem. Giving money to regular test players seems wrong on so many levels, and making the price cheaper on test only is a code variable you don't want to have to mess with. The closest thing I can come up with is that you actually let those of us on TEST /testcopy so that we can be part of a developer created guild over there without impacting our regular lives.Of course, some people are full up on character slots so there will even be an imperfection in that.Suggestions?EDITPS- That is not to say there won't be those on test who buy those guild houses. I think some guilds are gearing up for that as we speak. But there's going to be a vocal group in channel that aren't part of those guilds who want to test (it's why they play here after all). And I can't think of a good answer for them.

Well Test folks can actually already /testcopy... but yeah a lot may not have slots available for it.

Hiya,

As far as I know there is nothing stopping people on Test using the /testcopy feature to get to Test Copy other than, as stated, no empty character slots.

Is there something else going wrong with it?

- K

I shall try it as soon as the server comes back up. I seem to recall being told it was not possible for test at some point and thus have never actually attempted it. If so, Wooticus Maximus!

On test copy the devs could just make a guild and invite test players in without screwing up test economy / status / etc. That was the logic for my request.

So /testcopy add did indeed take Jawkins and duplicate him on Test_Copy... thanks for the heads up!

It is the test server and really has no economy to speak of. Most trouble comes from things not being applied equally. Here is my suggestion for testing guildhalls: 1. Raise guild levels of guilds that are currently in existance by rounding them up to the next guildhall level. guilds 1-29 make level 30 guilds 30-49 make level 50 guilds 50+ make level 70 and any 70+ make 80. 2. Make halls free of charge and amenities free of charge until published to live.

That should allow ample testing by test players of the things that are going to be added without upsetting any apple carts.
