I have just hit lvl 80 on my warden and was hoping for some advice on what gear i should be looking for at end game. I mostly spend my time duoing or grouping so really want to max out my heals as that is really my purpose. I know this will no doubt start an argument but if someone could provide ideas about which equipment to use and where it drops I would be really thankful. I don't do much raiding yet (U.S. time doesn't fot with a UK player i cant finish playing at 4 am and be up for work at 8!!) so group zones would be preferable.

Many thanks in advance!

Since you are 80, you have most likely quested your way past some pretty nice gear. The Battledruid set pieces are available from various factions (a piece in every spot, sort of). Runneye 2 has a really good cape, and the blue shiny collection from there offers a killer Ear item (Ankhefexen totem (sp) )

We could probably be a lot more specific if you say what kind of gear you are after? Healer/nuker or Healer/melee stuff?

Also, here's a nice post that mentions some items, although probably half...or more...are raid/avatar items. Still, this provides links and some locations for them

http://www.eq2flames.com/wardens/21...arden-gear.html

Not only can you see where to find the more easily obtainable items for yourself, you can also plan your raiding career if you see anything you like. This is a pretty comprehensive list. If you cut and paste the links in these posts into your chat in game, the item will come up for you to view.

Hope this helps

P.S. also make sure you start on your fabled Epic weapon. Even if you don't raid to get your mythical, you'll want to have that quest for updates if you do the instances for them.

I tend to like wading in to the fray so probably healer melee would be best. This is my first char so i dont really know what will be expected of me in raid situations so advice on which kit to get would be fine too. Also would i be better having two sets of armour? One for soloing/duoing and one for big groups and raids?

raiding wardens have very few responsibilities.keep your MT green.keep your group green.spot heal ppl in other groups as needed.throw some nukes or swing at the mob.we really dont have anything that needs to be cast on the mob or raid members at a specific time (with the possible exception of serene symbol and tortise shell).mostly.... heal as far as gear goes, i have a lot of gear in my bags which i swap out depending on the situation. most instances i can solo-heal without my 'heal-gear' on. i can put gear that will help my dps out some. other times i may need to get my nox resist up (VS) or heat (VP). but mostly id say focus on +heal crit and then +heal gear. Theres enough +crit and +heal gear that you dont even have to raid for to get close to 50% heal crit pretty easy.
