msvcp71.dll was not found error

<p>I recently started getting this error. Most of the time it bounces me to character select.</p><p>A forum search has a few posts about this error buy they all seem related to Legends of Norrath, which i dont' play.</p><p>Additionally, after i log back in again after this error, I get a welcome window that seems to be one intended for a new player.</p><p>Any ideas on fixing this?</p><p>Cheers.</p>

You can do a google search for "msvcp71.dll", to download that file and put it in your main EQ2 folder.
