Hey all,Does anyone know how Claw Reversal works?  I've been looking around for information on this, but haven't been able to find much.It does seem to increase riposte chance, and it also seems to provide the most added defense of the defense AAs that I've tried. However, I have no idea how it works.  Riposte and parry both function off of the parry skill, but when I put points into Claw Reversal, it just adds to my base avoidance percentage.  It doesn't affect my parry skill at all.  Base avoidance just makes the enemy "miss" you more, right?Does it add another layer of "pseudo-parry" to defense?  For example, would your avoidance roll go: 5% pseudo-parry > parry > deflection > defense?  In that case, it looks like it would only parry an extra 1 out of every 20 hits, and it seems to work better than that.Anyway, does anyone have any insight into this?

AFAIK it's another layer they need to get through to hit you. You're wrong however in assuming that parry skill would be more effective because that ends up being contested in the sense that an increased chance to hit diminishes the effect of a target's defensive skills. Claw reversal should be working as an uncontested bonus, meaning that you riposte 4% (at max) of all incoming blows. The visible "avoidance" rating is simply a rough estimation of how often you will avoid an attack from a normal encounter your level, so the more layers you add on the better.Think of it as similar to 90 chances to roll a 1 on a percentile, versus 1 chance to roll a 10 or less.
