Weapon Speed

<p>I recently came back after a fairly long break, and alot of new stuff has been added since then. I've been playing my monk mostly but every now and then I'll jump on my assassin and play around. One thing has come up in chat channel that I don't understand or maybe just read wrong and was hoping to get clerified.</p><p>One thing I hear alot about is weapon speeds. First off, the only things I do on my assassin are soloing/small groups and I DW (not sure if there is any reason to not DW). Now interms of weapon speeds, does the speed of my weapons matter that much in small groups? Also does weapon speed affect any of the assassins combat arts, for instance, does a slow weapon increase the overall dmg of a backstab.</p><p>One more thing, for soloing does anyone have a preference on slow weapons or fast weapons? (high dmg/slow speed or low dmg/fast speed)</p>

IDK much about this but when i wanted to make an SK (until i figured they couldnt keep argoI read something about getting more auto attacks for each combat art and the maker of the guide had organized his hotbar and only got weapons with 2.5 sec delay so so he could do like 2 1 sec attacks and a .5sec skill. I really dont see much of a diffrencce in my dmg when I do that but really i dont know it may work for you cause you have better weapons or CAs
